針對近日醫療暴力事件頻傳，為保障民眾就醫及醫護人員執行醫療業務之安全，高雄市立聯合醫院於7日辦理「醫療暴力防治-簡易防身術」教育訓練，由院內負責協助維護機關安全及預防危害事件發生的政風室，活動邀請高雄市政府警察局婦幼警察隊警員阮鈺評及張好秀兩位教官，教導同仁面對醫療暴力事件之應對及處理，並且在情況危急時如何透過簡單的防身術來制止對方，保護自身安全。

聯合醫院院長賴文德表示，本院的理念是不容許醫療暴力事件發生，因此近年來一直加強設置防止暴力事件發生的設施、制定暴力事件發生應變流程及相關訓練課程，而今天更邀請到兩位教官至本院，以事前預防勝於事後補救的觀念教導，如何處理突發的醫療暴力事件，「雖然希望不要有用到的一天，但真的遇上時便要保護好自己以及身邊民眾的安全。」

在防身術課程中，兩位教官指出，面對醫療暴力事件，學習防身術不僅能保護自己，亦能制止對方並降低所造成的傷害，最要緊的是不要慌張，需要保持冷靜才能有效面對各種突發狀況；而此堂課中，特別教導同仁使用「一指神功、雙雷貫耳」等技巧防身，另外也呼籲民眾與醫護人員應維持良好醫病關係，彼此相互體諒，減少不理性暴力行為發生，有效發揮醫療資源，才能醫病雙方互惠雙贏。
